Allison L. Cook, CPA, ABV, CGMA
Allison grew up in Ohio, one of five sisters. She moved to
Colorado in 1992 trying to flee the humidity and maybe get in
some skiing. She is an avid scuba diver, reaching her Master Diver Certification and likes to travel, camp, hike
and snowshoe whenever possible.
Allison graduted Summa Cum Laude from Regis University with a B.S. in Accounting and a minor in Business Administration. Her accounting and business consulting career has spanned over 25 years. She has given several tax and accounting seminars to both CPA professionals and the general public.
Allison has her Accredited in Business Valuations (ABV) license and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation, both from the AICPA. She has served in the past on the board of the Acorn School for Early Childhood Development. She is also a member of The Coral Reef Alliance and the PADI Diving Society.
Allison is a member of the Colorado Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs and Mensa International.
Ed Naimon, CPA, Ph.D.,
Ed grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he met his wife, Kathy. They moved to Boulder in 1972 with their two children, David and Sharon.
Ed graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a B.S. in Applied Math and Engineering Physics. He continued his physics studies at the University of Illinois, where he earned an M.S. and a Ph.D. in physics.
While in Colorado, Ed earned an MBA from Colorado State University, as well as an M.S. in tax/accounting at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He received a Graduate Academic Achievement award from the College of Business for his studies at CU Boulder.
Ed placed in the top ten in the State of Colorado for those
taking the CPA exam in 1996, and he has been a licensed CPA
since 1997. He has also taught financial accounting and tax
courses at CU Boulder. Ed has had extensive experience in the
practice areas of trusts and estates, and he is proficient in
a wide area of tax matters.
Ed enjoys hiking, reading and traveling. A former jogger, Ed has participated in all of the Bolder Boulder races since its inception in 1979.
Logan Burdine, JD, BBA
Logan is an attorney and tax professional who has been licensed to practice law in Colorado since 2007. He is a partner in the firm Burdine | Reed LLC. In addition to legal and tax services, he provides contract bookkeeping to various businesses around Boulder. He is an active member in the Trust and Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association.
Logan grew up in Arlinton, Texas. He graduated from Texas Christian University with a BBA in Finance and was a letterman on the Horned Frog football team. He received his legal education at Texas Tech University and moved to Colorado with his wife (and law partner) Immediately upon graduation.
In his free time, Logan enjoys hiking with his wife, playing and watching most sports, reading and traveling. He also writes about baseball, specifically the Colorado Rockies.
He's been published on ESPN multiple times and makes the occasional local radio appearance.
Julie Nicoletti, CPA
Julie is a two-time University of Colorado graduate with a
B.A. in International Relations and an MBA in Accounting. She
has over 15 years of tax experience in public accounting and
the same amount in private industry, including construction,
manufacturing and high-tech. She was formerly the Chief
Financial Officer of a mid-size Colorado company. She is a
member of the Colorado Society of CPA's.
Julie grew up all over the world, but has made Boulder County her home for longer than she cares to admit. She and her husband are avid cyclists and travel as much as they can get away with. She enjoys cooking, reading, camping, hiking and cross country skiing.
John was born in Sydney in 1945, but has lived in Boulder since 1994 with his American wife, Catherine. John is a Civil Engineer, and they met in 1992 in Hanoi, Vietnam while each on separate assignments. John still does a little engineering, mainly in Asia. But he loves his work with us, each tax season, because of the people he meets, and the insight he gets into how people live their lives, and contribute to a better society. Taxation accounting is a people-oriented business, where real life meets civil obligation.
Megan grew up in Virginia, but has enjoyed calling Boulder home since 2009. She received her B.A. in English from a small college in Virginia. In her spare time Megan enjoys reading, traveling with her husband, recording the Ft. Collins newspaper for the blind to hear and enjoying the beauty of Colorado.
